Horror-Comedy
“What led me to create this world and these characters stem from a fascination with the intersection between race, queer theory and gothic fiction. The main concerns are marginality and socially constructed boundaries between the normal and the abnormal. I wanted to create a world to explore these themes while subverting sexualization and violence that is projected onto black characters in the horror genre.” - Kyle Hinton, Director
